By: Anna Cave Learn more about the analytics platform that caters to online and physical businesses alike. When you think of programs that measure analytics, Google Analytics is usually the first to come to mind. While Google is an amazing, free program, it is not the only option out there for measuring analytics. Adobe is great for measuring analytics for websites and mobile apps, just like Google, but their services also extend beyond that. Adobe Analytics has the capability to measure analytics for something like a kiosk or in-store screens, so long as they are connected to wifi, which is a very powerful feature for businesses that rely on physical locations for their success. Adobe Analytics is a great program for bigger teams that need to access data in order to make reports and conduct analysis. Adobe offers options for different team members to only look at data they are interested in, when they are interested in it. Say your boss wants a report of online sales data in his email inbox every Monday morning. Adobe can allow your boss to make those selections, eliminating the need for a middle man to deliver that data, which really simplifies the process. Adobe stresses their dedication to the privacy of your business and your consumers. The data belongs to the client, so Adobe doesn't have the ability to access it. Adobe also makes it simple to access and delete data should a customer request so, making it a great tool for big businesses that may require personal data on customers in order to function. If you're thinking of trying Adobe Analytics out, there are a few differences you may want to note. Since it is a different program, some of the verbiage used to describe metrics varies from what may be seen on other programs. For example, what is called a session on Google Analytics is known as a visit on Adobe Analytics. These differences are subtle, and self-explanatory for the most part, but important to note if you are considering switching programs. Adobe's ability to collect data past websites and applications makes it a powerful program worth learning. Learning Adobe Analytics is a great way to expand your knowledge of analytics and gain experience in analysis on a deeper level by picking up skills that apply to a new program. Check out this video to learn a little more about what Adobe has to offer and how their platform works.
